A note about Java
After wrestling with what should have been a minor programming problem for 2 days, I wish to share a little knowledge that I have learned.
If you're writing programs using Java sockets, do not ever mix readers/writers with inputstreams/outputstreams. Either use readers with writers or use inputstreams with outputstreams on both ends of the connection. Don't mix and match unless you want your program to not work or you want to sleep very little and dream of java sockets hitting at you with data streams when you do fall asleep.
Fuck, I'm tired.
I know, I'm due for a Fred and Phil update, and I said I'd write the next chapter for the Spirits of Air story, but come on, it's 6 in the fucking morning. I'm going to sleep.
