This comes as a complete surprise, but Wit and Spit reads me. Don't take my word for it, she said so herself. Wow, I must say this feels just GREAT! As you guys may have noticed, I haven't been blogging regularly lately. This is due to the fact that I've been rather busy with a new (to me) MMORPG that I've started playing recently. Yes, this game has been taking up most of my time, and the rest of it has been filled by a school project. Something had to give, and since no one has been donating to my Beer Fund, I decided to give blogging a bit of a rest.
You see, I am a selfish creature. This blog is primarily a shrine to my ego. I blog so that you guys can read and be impressed by my cleverness and leave comments telling me how cool I am. You people have done a great job of feeding my ego this past year and a half, and it has become a really huge, bloated monstrosity. I thought that it had reached critical volume, and couldn't grow anymore. Hence, there was no longer such a pressing need to feed it. But you know what? I was wrong! After reading that lovely comment, my ego suddenly grew again!
Some of you are probably thinking that it is not such a big deal, but it is, because Wit and Spit is one of the really good bloggers around. Personally, I think she's right up there with the Macniverse geek. This comes as an absolutely pleasant surprise, since most of her posts are really quite kosher, while I Rock, You Suck is more or less the literary equivalent of a smack in the mouth most of the time. Thanks, doll. You have just totally made my day.
Well, night, actually, since it is now approximately half past four in the morning here in Singapore. Seeing that comment has just given me renewed motivation to blog more, so to those of you for whom this comes as good news, you have her to thank for it. If this comes as bad news to you, well . . . that's all I have to say for today, folks. Excuse me while I go read that comment 1000 more times before I go to sleep.
