Adrian links Adrianna
During one of those interminable nights of random surfing and mugging for examinations, I came across the
blog of a geek from another dimension. Yes, one of the dreaded denizens of the Macniverse (as opposed to the altogether more familiar Unixverse I inhabit). The coincidental thing (which kept me reading her blog initially) is that her name just happens to be the female derivative of mine. Or maybe mine is the male derivative of hers. I say that just to avoid sounding sexist, of course. Obviously any name similar to mine could only be a derivative of mine. So there.
Anyway, do check her blog out. It's one of the few well-written Singaporean blogs I've come across, which is why I linked her (that and the fact that I like techies), and has more readers than mine. Ah well, nobody understands me because I'm a genius. She's rather more overtly fanatical about Mac than I am about Linux, though, so be warned, noob Winblows users. You may find the description of an OS virtually immune
by default to malware . . . unsettling . . .
p.s. Yes, Pieter, I know that you know how to keep your computer safe. Hence the qualifier "noob users". And yes, I know that you're going to think that I'm being geeky again. I've always been geeky
and extremely cool. I thought you'd noticed that.
